There are two reasons for the 50/50 drawing.
One is to raise a small amount
of money for our chapter. Secondly,
is to allow members to have some fun
with it. That being said, we
have some basic guidelines. Buy as many tickets
as you like, but understand....
in the effort of fairness to all
participating members NO household can win
more than once per evening. Once
you have won that evening, the rest of
your numbers are no longer eligible
for winnings. They are, of course, still in the
box to possibly be drawn,
but if drawn they will be set aside and another ticket
will be drawn. This
continues until we have 3 winners from
3 DIFFERENT HOUSEHOLDS. If one of
your numbers/tickets is drawn a
second time, you don't have the option of
taking the larger amount.
Your FIRST winnings for that evening is your
total. Thank you for your
understanding and cooperation in this matter.
Again, we are wanting to be fair
to everyone who chooses to participate. And
again, lets allow this to be the
fun activity that your officers intended.
BTW- Buying tickets for the 50/50 is strictly optional. We
don't require anyone to participate
